lyrics
Alarming dawn, heavy artillery broke the silence
Loaded cannons and militant guns fire in alliance
Frenzied armies marching on to settle the score
No escape, it's too late, this war to end all wars
Vicious death sweeping across the battlefield
Takes no prisoners, spares no life through A Blast Of Steel
Bullets blow, grenades rain down, forces collide
Tanks roar rolling in, nowhere left to hide
Toxic fog , clouds of smoke fill the sky
Thousands of soldiers in a sea of blood and mud they die
Vicious death sweeping across the battlefield
Takes no prisoners, spares no life through A Blast Of Steel
Boundless command to destroy
Enraged by brutal desire
Thrown into action
For absolute destruction
The earth is raped, North, South, West and East
No turning back, thunderous chaos is unleashed
The air is breathless, the ground is sown with corpses
Scorched to black through A Blast Of Steel

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit

This album rocks! Has a great atmosphere. I really enjoy this type of BM that is more meditative, with excellent riffs. Love the sound of the guitar and drums. That snare drum hit is perfect. I am looking forward to future releases. Might be my new fav band! jschmid20
